Following the shoe throwing incident in the holy Shiite city of Najaf, 100 miles south of Baghdad, demonstrators chanted: "Bush, Bush, is a cow, your farewell was by a shoe," and, "The shoe got its goal straightly, but Maliki turned it away."
I'm sure it rhymes better than in translation.

I'd guess that about , at least 80% of this planets populace will be disappointed that the shoe did'nt hit its target as a farewell present to the 'dog' .
Most dogs would make better Presidents than he has !

I willed the shoe to hit him in the face.
It all started with a pretzel and now ends with a shoe.
It would've made my day if Osama Bin Laden had been the guy chucking it and then walked up to Bush, slapped him and said "Tag. You're it!"
Would've totally invalidated the last 7 years.

Did you hear Bush saying that this, i.e. shoe throwing, doesn't represent the sentiment of the Iraqi people. I'd say he's probably right. They'd much rather tear him to pieces!
