I hate having to admit that I don't know something when it comes to to computers because I usually enjoy discovering the solution or reading someone elses blog where the solution is posted.

At work we use lotus notes as our email platform (yeah, yeah, I know!) and I've been scratching my head all afternoon looking at the archive function and trying different bits of advice, and even got so annoyed and frustrated that I tried everything at once and then gave myself a time out under my desk for being a naughty boy.

(And please don't suggest that I contact the dedicated IT support here at the council...)

My exact problem with lotus notes is creating a place for the archive to go. Seems that having a folder and just pointing notes at the folder isn't enough. Seems it needs a file and I can't find the file or how to create it. (That's a step most "how to" guides and the help system on notes skip right over)

So, if there's any Lotus Notes genius' out there or you know a website with some really snappy steps point them out to me.
