Actress Lindsay Lohan has apparently confirmed she is dating DJ Samantha Ronson on US radio show Loveline.

Having come out, like, a million years ago, I'm not sure how much attention people pay any more.

Does an ordinary person care when someone comes out?

The gay thought police will probably snatch me for asking that, the line is supposed to be something like "It's great that she's come out, it's important to have visible gay role models for young LGBT people". Which is totally right but I have the "Do we care" question looming before it.

The Lohan isn't exactly hot property when it comes to making movies. Maybe she wants her own show, like Ellen has.

And maybe her publicist is getting her to come out because everyone liked that "kissed a girl" song that came out recently. (I know I should know the singers name but it currently escapes me)

Some come on blog-land... do we care?
