I've seen about Wolverhampton PCT coming bottom of 69 mental health trusts. An "aministrative error" meant they submitted the work late. After a bit of digging I can exclusively reveal that this administrative error was due to a dog eating their homework.
Wolverhampton City Primary Care Trust came bottom of the 69 mental health trusts in the Healthcare Commission report which assessed four key areas.
But the trust's chief executive John Crockett said the ranking resulted from his dog eating the first set of of results and did "not reflect the quality of our services". Mr Crockett said this resulted from administrative problems.
He said: "Because of my dog eating my homework I missed the deadline, alright? It was only a couple of hours late, c'mon, sir, don't give me bad grades"
Wolverhampton's younger brother was able to submit the work on time. Dudley PCT was rated "excellent". Dudley said that he's been up late working on the assignment the night before and thinks he heard his brother Wolverhampton come in late and sounding a bit worse for wear.
Campaigners have called the findings were disturbing, but the government said the problems were already being addressed. Wolverhampton was given detention.
(Apologies to the BBC for ruining someone's hard work)
