People simply voting for those in the right colour T-Shirts and making a popularity match of the whole conference.

abusive, narrow-minded people making the disabled delegates feel out of place, anti-semetic remarks circulating through the conference and people feeling margainalised for believing in what they believe in, for standing up for what they believe in and having the strength to argue it on a frankly terrifying platform.

what an ego people must have to think they can save Darfur by simply waving a coloured card in the air but some have the audacity to not even listen to any sort of opposition, and jeering those who dare to oppose such ridgid motions.

where are the open minds that we speak so often about needing? i feel we have taken a step back from last year.

People have whims, and they have opinions, there is no point in even having these conferences if the delegates minds are already made up before they arrive.

I truly hope someone, somehow can take this frankly worn sweater of a NUS and create something that someone will be proud of.
